heatsink you push down and screw down. the one i bought had clips that you just
pop in so it wouldnt work (both are socket 775)

i have cleaned all thermal paste off and replaced with arctic silver 5. i have
cleaned the motherboard and all heatsinks with compressed air. bought a new
exhaust fan and done everything i can think of. computer all of a sudden jumped
up to 148 degrees and will NOT go down. took video card out and used built in
one and still wont go down. i need help before it burns up now. im

way mine screws in is kind of like this (has the same screw holes on board (one
of them are missing also and i hope that isnt causing the overheat).
