I saw an image of the MSI and thought it looked like a fan on it. Have you tried disabling the variable speed feature of your CPU and chipset fans? In case they aren't spinning up fast enough? Worth a try. Yeah, Diablo 2 will run on almost anything. The new Diablo will need higher specs though. Starcraft 2 has some fairly high requirements.
