Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider), and how fast do they say your connection is supposed to be? Dialup connection speeds are around 56 kbps. DSL connection speeds are around 1,500 kbps. Broadband and Cable speeds are usually at least 500,000 kbps. So, I'm guessing you have a DSL connection? If you have DSL then you are probably getting as much speed as you will ever get. I've had DSL before and I know it is not easy to watch YouTube videos without them stopping to buffer every few seconds. It's frustrating, but that's just DSL. I don't think your router is the problem, but I guess it is possible. The only way to be sure wold be to try a different router. I would call your ISP's tech support phone number and tell them your speed is too slow. If they gave you the router they might send you a new one for free.
