Thanks for your help. I haven't went back to Best Buy or communicated by phone or email yet but I will. What I did after reading your reply was I got a Norton Bootable Recovery Tool DVD from another Windows 7 computer and ran a scan based on virus definitions up to 9-20-13 and found no viruses nor anything else. Then I attempted what you suggested and checked the hard drive. The test ran for about 5 to 6 hours and found no problems (That doesn't mean there's nothing wrong with the hard drive but it was a good idea.). I still am having trouble signing in to the Norton account to get back my Norton 360. Also I can't get my virus definitions updated on the Norton Internet Security that came with the computer (The one that shows up after you do a recovery and offers you a two month free subscription.). Also at times the computer seems to be running slowly (For example, it was reacting slowly when I attempted to tell it to check the hard drive.).
