Orchestral horn parts are often written like this - mostly pieces from
the 19th C., but some contemporary works as well.  As a player I find
it a pain.  Especially when, as in a piece I was playing on Wednesday,
the key is changing every 16 bars or so.

However, even if the musical content could be expressed better, it
would be a shame of the abc standard didn't allow one to transcribe
such music accurately.
