The c>c construct is a problem because it is notated as a 3:1 ratio but
played as a 2:1 ratio. This is why you are getting 5 1/2 : 2 1/2 instead
of 6:2.

Undoing karaoke MIDI is a tricky problem which I have not thought about.
Likewise, spotting repeats is something I have thought about briefly, but
hardly seems worth doing.
