Hey Amar,

This is a super important issue you’ve brought up! I have a suggestion to
add to the list: The new Aadhaar app should absolutely include a *Fingerprint
Authentication* option for logging in. It feels like a big miss.

If biometric verification works for things like SIM card issuance, why
can't a visually impaired person simply use their fingerprint to log in?
The current face authentication, which relies on eye blinking, is extremely
difficult for someone with no vision who can't accurately position the
camera on their face—they can't rely on sighted assistance every time.
Fingerprint is the most straightforward and reliable alternative.

For security, if they're worried, they could verify the user is visually
impaired using their UDID card or a certificate and only offer this feature
to them.

Hope this input helps with your contempt notice!

Cheers,
Nitinbhai
