Hello friends, yes, it is true that age of the escort is also mapped with the age of disabled person, but to solvethis problem I generally create Master list from IRCTC website and then it remain fixed in rail one also.Another big problem with Railway one Master is that it marks escort also as person with disability and you cannot change it while booking the ticket Sent from my iPhone Hi Siddarth and Vaibhav, I believe this specific issue is precisely why escorts are generally required to carry a photo identity card during travel. While I might be mistaken, this seems like a plausible reason for the system mapping the age and details in that manner within the RailOne application. The date of birth and the age automatically get mapped to the PWD age itself. So you can’t technically change the age of escort. I hope it won’t be a big problem.
Hi Siddarth, As you said that you were able to successfully ad an escort, may I know whether you had any problem in adding the escort as a passenger in RailOne? Did you add escort via the RailOne app itself or had you previously done so via the IRCTC app/website? I have been facing an issue wherein the age of my escort and the category gets automatically set to the PWD's DOB and Disability respectively. The latter is impossible to change leaving deletion as the only option.
Hi, I recently booked using rail one application. I successfully able to book 2 tickets whereas one disability ticket along with the escort. Hello friends,
IRCTC login problem is a big challenge because the login link is still not Descriptive by its name. In addition to this problem, now new problem has arrived that while booking a ticket, there was a provision for OTP for booking the ticket, but now it has been completely removed and replaced by capture, which was earlier available only to the people who were not selecting OTP option on login. The people who are selecting the OTP option on login were getting OTP for login and booking tickets.. still check box for OTP is provided, but no OTP is required for logging, but booking process requires capture instead of OTP
Of course rail one is fairly accessible As far as booking the ticket is concerned. but it has its own challenges. If we want to book more than two tickets that is one of disabled person and one of escort and adding more passengers, It is not allowing us to do so.
