Hi: Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not sure how this works. What I want to accomplish is that after I delete or move a file from windows explorer, I want jaws to begin reading the list of files from where I left off instead of beginning at the top of the list.

Of course I can hit the letter of the next thing and resume from there but what if there a lot of items in the list beginning with the same letter or number? It's an annoyance really and has been since the beginning. I would be interested in what settings give you the ability to resume reading where you left off in the list?
