Dear Amar,
I do agree that social networking websites may not serve the problem as many people are not that interested in them, I am refering some website like inclusive planet may be. Social networking websites will not share your e-mail ids to any one without your concern. Its against their policies. Coming to outlook. Yes its a solution by setting rules to sent different mails to different folders. How many of the users can efford a lisenced software? Instead they may go for a pairoted version which we do not support. If we speak to persons like me I find all free versions of software such as NVDA for screen reading and instant bird for chatting , Thunder bird for emails. If you have any information how to set rules to sent mails to different folders from thunder bird how to do it? Its fine if we can do the same directly in gmail.

I fully agree with Swati mam's opinion.
What's more, if you bring this forum to social networking sites, there will be more privacy concerns from what already we have now. Email is something which is the most easy thing to learn for everybody, and sites like facebook are rather little complicated to learn due to accessibility and design challenges.

Hello,
Bhawani Sir is right.

Mailing list is the better way of communication. IF purnima has
problem reading mails she can switch to digest mode or can create a
seprate folder.
If asked me, I feel reading and deleting mails in my outlook is more
easy and less time taking for me then opening a SNS and surfing on it
and reading messages and replying back to it.

I am sorry, but I really don't have time to go to Face Book or
Inclusive plannet, then log in and then go to desired location and
read out messages.
I hardly visit such sites. I guess only then, when I receive reminder
mail from such sites. ha ha ha
I am extremely sorry, if I am sounding rude.
Also, these are my thoughts, so just felt like expressing it.

but Harish is it possible to encrypt the display of mail I.Ds when a
non-member searches through our archives through Google or other
search engines? if so it might be a good idea to implement concerning
privacy of some members. does the current setup under Pythan permits
this or not?

Dear Purnima

What you can do is to make a seperate folder for AccessIndia mails.
Next you can set a rule to move all the mails from the list using the
criteria where subject line contains [AI]
This way your in-box shall always be free from the list mails.

hi friends i appritiate this forum but often find it difficult to
manage my other important mails as my inbox gets filled by the number
of mails i receive from this mailing list and many of my v i friends
refrain from joining this forum for the same reason .It is suggested
that the forum be redesigned for example it can be something like the
facebook where we can write whats on our mind and other can comment on
it etc ,I think that it would be better and more easy to navigate
