in the State Bank of Mysore branch at Manasagangotri, the manager said me
that VI cannot given the online banking facility. but I enlightened him by
giving detailed information. He dint knew how VI use computer and internet.
I explained him about the screen readers etc. I also gave him the judgment
of the CCPD on the matter. then he said that he would confirm with the
higher authority. he made me wait for some days. but as I was following it
up continuously, finally he gave me the facility. I don't know whether he
got the confirmation from his superiors or not. but he was open mindedly
listening to all that I explained to him and not rude in nature. also, he
did not ask me for any undertaking. the only problem was the delay in
getting the things done. it was nearly about 15 days. ATM card was given
with out any hindrance. the assistant manager only asked me how do you
operate. all this happened in 2008 when I was a post graduate student in the
campus.

and told me that you can only able to check your balance and not able to

hello,our account for balance information and you are not able to
transfer moneythrough inter bank or third party transactions .
you need to apply for the transaction rights while taking the net
banking acility activated by your bank. merely applying for net
banking does not give you the privillage to transfer the fund to other
account. if you have not put tick mark on the colomn transaction
rights then apply to your bank separately.

denial of banking services despite favourable regulatory norms.
One of the difficulty to confront this problem is the lack of
documentation. As the banks reject the application orally and don't
give
anything in writing there is nothing to fall back on to take this
ahead.
One of our member anticipating a negative reply recorded the
conversation,
we need more of such examples to prove the violation is not merely some
isolated incident.
