ah, they can be identified by the file names I feel. usually those video
files are named "AVSEQ1.DAT, AVSEQ2.DAT". note: these are the data files
whether media/apps.

By checkiing the size of the files you can get to know that if the
file still contain music if it's in MBs or it has got spoiled. Had
happend to me so.
