Dear Friends, I was interested to read about interest in Human resources. For people with visual impairment, I think it is a very viable option. I know people already pursuing a successful HR career. Mr. Mohammed Asif Iqbal, Goma Rai and Ajay Dhanak are all in large private firms with a great job. Although it might be tough in the beginning to understand and deal with a world of fully sighted people in a competitive environment, through experience I can tell you it is a rewarding one. You can contact me if you need any advice, help or assistance in choosing institute or dealing with any other queries. I will be happy to help. I personally graduated from the Tata Institute of Social sciences and the faculty, atmosphere and special abilities support there is just amazing. We had a fully equipped library with braille printers, scanners, Jaws software and other reading aid devices. I was also allowed to give my exams by using a computer system with Jaws on it. I found that very liberating!
