Dear pallavi, No need to lose your heart and hope. Consider the fact that being a visually impaired, we have to confront such challenges in every aspect of our life. Never the less, life does not end here and we have to enjoy facing these challenges to achieve our consummation. My advice would be to talk to the Principal and other concerned people of that College saying at least: “Sir, even though you have not hired me inspite of finding the requisite qualification and skills, however, would like to tell you that many visually impaired teachers and lecturers have been successfully fulfilling their responsibilities in various Colleges and universities in India.” Also show them some examples. It is not necessary that they would be convinced and hire you but it is our responsibility to try and make the people aware. Remember, that is not only a college for you, there might be some other colleges or schools where your talent and skills would have the best place and you would be a potential employee of that institute.
Wish you all the best.
