--- Comment #88 from Stefan Vogel <s...@exept.de> 2012-05-31 17:13:25 --- I have a V1Sn with a Core2Duo T7700. It suffers the same problem - spurious shutdown with critical temperature at 127ºC (== 0x3F). It happens with both Bios 301 and 302, EC Bios is 1000B80001 (both for 301 and 302). With OpenSuse 12.1 and kernel-desktop 3.3.x (from the Tubleweed repo) this happened only every other week. After updating to kernel-desktop 3.4.0 the shutdown happens 2-4 times a day. This is definitely not a temperature problem. I can put heavy load on the CPU, so the temperature raises to 80ºC for an hour - and no shutdown happens. Sometimes, with nearly no load the CPU has a temperature of 60-70ºC, and suddenly pretends to raise to 127ºC within a second. I am switching back to 3.3.6 now. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
