I have only added the cache related meta tags to the new version in order to solve the caching problem.
We do not have a proxy on our network. I can not get a straight answer about our client's network. But we have asked, so it crossed our minds.
The problem only occurs in our client's very large network. The same software works correctly in IE 6 in our own very small network.
Each dynamic page has the following header (or had)
Smells a bit like proxy server caching to me: do they have a proxy server, and you don't? Are the pragma headers / meta tags still in every page, particularly the one where the problem is visible? You say "or had": does that mean that they have been changed?
