Conversion involves a wee bit of logistics, but it
would help if you described your setup.

Are you using ITK for anything else other than the
Active4D webserver. Is the webserver running on 4D
Server, 4D Standalone, 4D Client etc.

For the most part, I did my development on a version
of the database using ITK, and the moved the .A4D
files over to the production server that was using 4Ds
webserver.

Seamless, in my experience.. but always, test
off-production first..

Using insider, replacing the ITK-A4D shell with the 4D
Web-A4D shell was easy..

Hope someone else can chime in with any gotchas..

Thanks for the tip. Other than cost, are there
significant advantages/
disadvantages of itk vs 4D web server? And is there
any significant
issues/troubles converting over? Is there a thread
that discusses
this after 4D 2003 came out?

Thanks,

Bill
