Actually, I've attracted some new ones to 4D who are sick of cloud solutions fragmenting their business data. > They see the future in Opensource solutions Everyone says that until they have to implement an opensource solution, especially across a diverse range of business processes. Then they realise it's no better or worse - just a different set of problems. OpenERP, for example, is no bug-free plain sailing haven. Neither is Salesforce with it's myriad of quality un-controlled front ends that don't talk to each other. What Active4D is missing I think is what keeps 4D going - a couple of good vertical market products that deploy its unique functionality to sell multiple installations into specific industry sectors.
