I don't know how it works with sysvol replicas, but I guess it is similar to back link attributes with users and groups. The user attribute "memberOf" is a back link attribute which shows all the groups of which the user is a member. This attribute cannot be modified on the user object. Instead the "member" attribute for the various individual group objects must be modified.

I am trying to set a member attribute for a sysvol replica and it says I cannot set a Back link, or that is I owned by the system. --Kevinm KMAP-SR, M, WLKMMAS, UCC+WCA, And Beyond http://www.daughtry.ca/ For Graphics and WebDesign, GO here! -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Rick Kingslan Sent: Tuesday, July 02, 2002 5:53 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [ActiveDir] Broke NTFRS Kevin, What ARE the errors that you're getting with NTFRS?
