Here at RIC, we don't have a written policy on providing administrative access to employees, but if folks petition for it, we will generally provide the access.
On a slightly different note but not entirely unrelated to this topic....does anyone have a policy on account provisions that could be sent? I'm specifically interested in policies regarding setting up e-mail and computing accounts for new employees and terminating accounts once employees leave. Thanks! Christopher P. Hourigan, Ed.D. In addition, staff computers are "locked down," so no application can be downloaded or upgraded without central IT authorization through a central "software update center." Updates are pushed out from our central IT service group.
