Yes - however the form will not be developed until after the policy is
officially approved.

Hi Lynda,

We are starting down this path as well.

Thanks for sharing your policy and procedure document drafts. Would you mind
sharing the request for admin rights form as well?

Thanks

Hello John and apologies for my delay in responding. This is a policy we
currently have in development. I have attached our most recent draft and will
be happy to provide a final once completed (if you remind me!!). Our CIO found
a policy he liked on Trinity University's web site and they approved our use of
some of their language:

Subject: [acupa-l] Adminsitrative Access (Rights) to Computers Policy

We are evaluating our current practices in regard to granting Administrative
Access to employee computers. Currently, we do not allow Administrative Access
but allow a few exceptions. I am interested in finding out about relevant
policies at other institutions. I am especially interested in policies that
specifically allow Administrative Access for faculty.

Thank you.
