UAB has a Sick Time Donation
Policy<http://www.uab.edu/policies/Pages/LibraryDetail.aspx?pID=355> that
allows an employee to voluntarily donate his or her accrued sick time to
another. UAB also operates a benevolent
fund<http://www.uab.edu/policies/content/Pages/UAB-HR-POL-0000210.aspx> that
provides emergency financial assistance to employees under certain
circumstances, like during periods of financial hardship due to medical issues.
If either of those are on point for you, there should be contact information
available on those respective pages for individuals on campus with more details.

Thanks,
Katie

Here is the BSU policy on sick leave - 90 days is the max..

After you accumulate 90 days in the "bank" you simply can't add any more...

Subject: [acupa-l] Sick Leave Bank Policy

Hi everybody,

Do any institutions out there have a policy concerning a institutional wide or
contractual Sick Leave Bank that an individual with a major illness could dip
into when their personal leave time has been expended? A colleague was
inquiring and I thought I would put it out there to the ACUPA group for
feedback..

Thanks as always!
