It is common at out institution to have faculty, staff and students engaged in multiple venues of social media. Although we do not have an official stance on "friending" or "following", Code of Conduct, Ethics, Title IX, etc. also have implications for appropriate behavior that continue outside the workplace, so this one is quite complicated with fine lines between what is appropriate and what is not.
