I forgot to mention that we also have an Ethics Committee that renders advice
on application of the Code to specific fact situations. The Committee's charge
is described in our Administrative Regulation "University Ethics Committee".

Hi Heather,

The University's Ethics Advisor is now the head of Internal Audit here. This
function had lived previously in the Office of the President.

In addition, we follow rules and guidance by Washington State's Executive
Ethics Board per statute, and our Board of Regents maintains its own Statement
of Ethical Principles which is part of their Governance Committee's role to
monitor.

My best,

Rebecca

Good morning,

Before sending this request I checked the archives since I was almost certain
we'd discussed this in the past. I found a thread from September 2014 where
several people shared their Code of Ethics. Close, but not close enough. I'm
looking to find out who "owns" or is the Responsible Executive for your ethics
policy. Ours currently sits under the Provost but we are considering a move to
the President's Office - tone at the top, of course.

Thanks in advance,
Heather
