Hi Leah,

At Indiana University, I've seen wedding ceremonies (and wedding photo ops) all
over this beautiful campus. I've never seen a one policy for the university or
the campus I reside on (Bloomington) but what is in place are reservation forms
and procedures that parties have to complete to conduct a wedding on the
Bloomington campus. Here are two of the more popular locations (this list is
not exhaustive of wedding locations by any means):

1. Beck Chapel: http://imu.indiana.edu/chapel/reservation.shtml

2. IU Auditorium:
http://www.iuauditorium.com/venue-rental-other-services/weddings

Hope this is helpful.

Best,

Subject: [acupa-l] Events (specifically wedding) policies

Hello ACUPA members,

I am writing to gain an understanding of what policies other universities may
have adopted regarding renting out space or facilities for weddings. Our
current policy states that weddings are prohibited on campus and a task force
is being formed to look into changing that policy.

Any thoughts or advice on how to proceed would be welcome.

Thank you.
