Nice to have you on board!

We have a four year comprehensive review schedule, that most of the policy
owners follow (there are notable owners who drag their feet more than
others.)  Each policy owner should be following laws and regulations
related to their area of responsibility to see if a new or revised policy
is needed.  I watch different industries to see if there's a trend, but I
don't know how formal the process if for identifying a need.  I have seen
policies created in the past when something bad happens, even when it was a
first time incident.
