I'd say you have 3 solid programs to choose from. 1- Adobe Encore ($549.95) is the most expensive, but it works very well with Premeire Pro. You'll also find that as a PPro user, you'll take to it pretty easily. Encore DVD also integrates very well with Photoshop for your buttons and backgrounds.
2- Sonic DVDit! 5 ($299.95) is less expensive, easy to use and loaded with nice features. It will encode your avi files to MPEG2.
