Very good. Just wanted to make sure you were tuned in. You'll love it,
especially if you use P2 MXF or Sony MXF! Native support, no rendering,
realtime export back to MXF.....pass a completed timeline back to the
camera and, when needed, show your work to clients right on the cameras
viewfinder.

Tapeless is the way of the future. At NAB I heard Giles Baker (product mgr
for Premiere Pro) say "we think tape will be going away in the very near
future."*

Word to the wise: start thinking about tapeless workflows in your next
purchases. Axio is part of that process, at least as far as MXF is
concerned.

*What he meant was that tape won't go away immediately, but that new
purchases of tape-based cameras, editing systems and workflows will begin
to go away very quickly.

The MB that is listed is the X7DA8 vs the X7DAE that I am using...theDVshop
who is building the computer is presently testing. They are supposed to be
the same MB except that the 8 ver. has onboard SCSI whereas the E only has
SATA support. The graphics adapter I am using is the 7950GX2 wich is
listed,
(I had changed to this card from my original specs, it has 1024 meg onboard
memory.
Regards,
Richard
