Hi Steve,
just watched the first video, you don't look all that nerdy :)
Couple of years ago I went to Aaron Tippin's farm to shoot some footage for
a promo video for a new startup cable network. Aaron has a restored PT-17
Biplane and got some great footage of him taking off and taxiing it. He gave
Daryl Singletary and Rhett Akins rides and I gave them a Canon HDV20 to
shoot with in the air. Also shot some stuff with them riding 4 wheelers and
Aaron's kids driving on gokarts on a track they had their. It was all
HDV(Canon H1 and A1) but was edited in SD on a Matrox RT-X100 as 16:9
w/Premier Pro 2.0 but played back on an upscaling DVD player. Looked pretty
good on lcd monitors. I also had some footage that was shot in 4:3 that I
did a pan and scan to fill up the wide screen and it held up pretty good. It
was shown at a cable convention and the viewers were not right on top of the
monitors.
BTW, Leigh can belt it out.
Richard
