I think VS2005 is Heads and Shoulders above VS2003.  There's a few quirks
with the Forms designer and build state, but other than that, nothing bad
springs to mind. (Presuming you have GB's of RAM... anything less than 1GB
is torture)

I also had the misfortune to use SQL Server 2005 SSIS which was a most
regrettable experience.

Microsoft being Microsoft, there is no service pack and they are forging
ahead with .NET 3.0 without a care to their current toolset being riddled
with bugs.
Does everyone use VS 2005 or is there maybe a better alternative to this way
of developing.

I love the framework but hate the tools.
