Maybe it's because there's so many hackers in it, but it seems there's
a real anitipathy against CS types in the Perl community.  And frankly
I'm getting a little impatient with it.  CS majors are just hackers with
a eddication, in many cases, like mine.

I don't believe CS majors follow the buzzwords and money any more than
hackers or morons, to the extent that they're able to.

One of Perl's image problems is that it is perceived as a hacker
language by many; and the anti-CS rhetoric surely contributes to that.
