I don't understand those students. We didn't have many textbooks when I
was in university (mid '80s), but they are still among my most used books.

I can easily live without my O'Reilly collection, or anything mentioning
Perl, but I cannot imagine a life without Tanenbaum, Kernighan & Pike,
Knuth, CLR, Aho, Hopcroft, Ullman or Edelsbrunner.
