You're right! That was grotesque!

But anyway, part of the volume of Java book sales in particular is due to the
breadth of topic.  Everything from game programming, 3D interfaces and
multimedia, etc.  to completely business (albeit boring) application.

Perl needs more than just language study, although I love what we have in
that area!!  Perl for System Administration is an excellent step in this
direction.

Maybe:

* Perl: Beyond scripting           (When/where/how to write modules and
organize code for larger scale projects)
* Sales force automation and other stale peanuts
* HR Intranet ideas using Perl+Apache

-or even-

* Internet survey and voting site cheating with Perl    ;-)
* Basketweaving with Perl
* Completely useless tricks for Perl programmers with time, ...
