People who can say the word intranet mostly use IIS and NT from what I've
seen.

Even so, Perl doesn't need more books really and I say that knowing that
I'm working on one for a non-ora publisher. 

And I don't really care about Java other than the customers who run
'enterprise Java' applications on NT servers and complain about slowness
and horrible performance. 

Why do we seem to care about Java and the meme it seems to have? I think
people at this point if given the choice of Perl or Java will pick what
they need or want in spite of the meme. Given that, it would seem Java is
irrelevant.
