Well, in all fairness the article got on my nerves too as anyone who
starts to liken open software to WWII has probably had too much of the
open source kool-aide...but...there is some truth to apache probably
taking a back seat to some other products. A lot of people don't really
care what runs under the web services...just that it runs. 

It's like being a victim of grocery store marketing 'buy 1 get 1 free'
since it's really not free but you buy it anyway...or buying anything over
something else since it comes with  a free t-shirt. Porn outsells erotica
most of the time too...some people just want to skip the work and have it
handed to them. It's not so different than buying a seemingly cheap
solution v. one that takes work. :)

I wonder if there's a correlation between people who Admin/Purchase some
of these non-opensource products and porn consumption. Then we could have
Ashcroft call a government committee to outlaw NT on the grounds that it
contributes to the corruption of minors and the American Way[TM]!
