Be asked by is different then being asked of - I'm sure there are banal and
conventional analyses of the Odyssey and probably some profound ones of
Harry Potter - but I would suggest these do not arise from the texts
themselves but instead what is being brought to them - as is the case with
your own insights and confrontations with your own ability to project into
Fear Factor moments of drama and pathos, that unintentionally  for you
relieve its banality
