Surely any judge delivering an interpretation of the law is obliged to say what he/she thinks 'the' meaning of the law is. He can hardly just say well, 'I think it might be this or it might be that' - not in the final analysis anyway. (BTW do judges in the US appear on TV? They hardly ever do here. Infra dig.)
I don't know anything about the judge in question, but I suspect Cheerskep is reacting more to the person and his politics than anything else. But I am mainly interested in Cheerskep's response to my recent post re Plymouth Rock etc. I think there is a fundamental question he needs to answer there - relating to his longstanding 'is' claims.
