Chrie: I don't know if it would be correct to say that "Repulsion" by Roman Polanski 'changed" my taste in films. Perhaps it was a matter of discovering that I had a taste for "art films". Bela C

When did a specific work change your taste ? How long did it take ? Regarding myself -- although I have certainly changed my mind about certain novels, paintings, and musical recordings (sometimes liking them more -- sometimes less) -- I can't identify a specific piece to say : "yes, this is what changed my taste" Wait -- maybe that JSP box set of the Carter Family really did turn the corner for me regarding Hillbilly music -- with it special quality of resignation and mourning. But usually it's way more gradual for me -- and even if eventually I come to enjoy a genre that I never had never enjoyed before (like Hillbilly music), I will probably never be as confident in my judgments about specific performances as I am with those genres, like jazz vocal or figure sculpture, with which I've lived my entire life. ____________________________________________________________ Fashion Design Education - Click Here! http://thirdpartyoffers.netzero.net/TGL2231/fc/PnY6rc2z6jTo6tQyjn86Ziz6ucdl nB tvFCfbnS6KF8MmZkGoDoV4Q/ -- Be Yourself @ mail.com!
