Mando, as I understood your response to Robert Graham -- you were objecting to
him "selling cat as if it were rabbit". And you expressed your disdain so
forcefully -- I actually thought you were suggesting that your objection was
something more important than just your personal feeling.  Was I wrong ? (I
mean -- if cat tastes the same as rabbit -- why should anyone else care ?)


Now regarding the "sentimentality" of the commercial cartoon figures you once
made -- I'm wondering whether you think those pieces are somehow inferior to
the pieces you put into art galleries ?  You're not going to claim that anyone
should prefer the one to the other, are you?

Indeed -- you would claim that there is no such thing as "competent people
with discerning taste and knowledge"  Some people feel this way -- some people
feel that way -- and there's nothing to be discerning or competent about.

Right ?
