I’ll have to check, but I’m about 80% sure I’ve powered a PTP820 via a GIGE-APC-POE using a 48 VDC power supply that had the negative side grounded.
I don’t think I’ve ever used-48VDC except for some WiMAX gear and Trango ApexPlus.
