I think some of the gear allows you to use a 12mhz channel, if there are adjacent channels available... or at least that was on the roadmap at one point. There was also talk of being able to aggregate two non-adjacent channels, but it's been awhile since I've looked at any TVWS stuff, so I don't know if any of that ever actually made it into production.
