For over 30 years I suffered with back pain. MRIs, X-rays, chiropractors,
doctors, back surgeons, etc.
My sister recommended a doctor whom she said did wonders for a friend of
hers. I walked in the room,
the doctor said, "Where is your pain?" I pointed to my lower back and she
said, "What do you do?"
After explaining I mostly sit in a chair, she said, "You have dead butt
syndrome." (Look it up.) Basically,
my hips were weak. Strengthened them (and continue to) and boom, back
problems gone.

Look for a "directional non-force technique " chiropractor if you haven't
had one already. The one I went
to for the longest time, was able to keep me moving for 3-6 weeks before
problems would resurface.
He would never give me a straight answer as to what was causing my back
problems but continued
to cash my checks every time I showed up.
