I think the point where I totally lost any particle of hope or respect or interest I had for Trump was during his first campaign.
He was ham fistedly trying to quote 2nd Corinthians. He said “two Corinthians”. I knew at that moment that he had never read scriptures nor had listened in church or Sunday school provided he ever attended. What a fake, ignorant, poser. Then later he was quoted as saying he does not read books. So obviously not a student of history. Presidents need a good foundation in history to inform their decision making. But we later found out that only Fox news and ratings informed his decision making. I really think he thought of the presidency in the same vein as the Miss America pageant. So he won the tiara.
