It would be nice if more CPE devices used USB-C for power, you could = power them off power banks intended for laptops and phones.
I wonder if one of these would work: https://www.ankersolix.com/products/c300-dc?variant=3D49702163972426 There's a 200W DC model, a 300W DC model, and a 300W DC+AC model. They = have LFP batteries and a 12V car charger output. They seem intended as = portable power banks, not sure how well they would work as a UPS. I seem to remember Tycon makes POE inserters that can be powered via = USB. -----Original Message----- From: AF <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Chris Fabien Sent: Friday, May 2, 2025 9:01 PM To: AnimalFarm Microwave Users Group <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [AFMUG] UPS for Internet equipment Years ago I had someone send me a demo unit of a ONT/router battery = backup that just used 8 D-Cell Alkaline batteries.
