My point here is, no one would have the right to harm you if you were to decide to do that - and they would be in the wrong if they did so. Now, that wouldn't help your situation out in the end, but that's not really my point.
As for why people are out in the streets, we're going to open up a whole adjacent can of worms on that one. I happen to fully understand why they're taking to the streets, and I would be out there if I lived in the city. That's not to say that I necessarily agree with some of their views on certain things, but the overall project is definitely worthwhile.
