That may be true, but I think AppleCare phone support has gone downhill. They are just script readers like everyone else now. And they aren’t even trained well on their own products, like not knowing that WiFi-only iPads don’t have GPS.

That's why they have Genius Bar. Not really trying to argue here, but their support over Windows/PC is flat out awesome. Take it for a ride one day and go to one of their stores...they make it easy, they personally take the time to teach their clients things, and they even hold micro classes for people to teach them how to use it. Granted not every city has one, it's still available to many people. I don't think there's a company of that size in that space. Google and Microsoft's estimated value together are not as big as Apple's. Someone is doing something right...all of them do something...but it definitely shows someone is doing something right. Just because I use an iPhone doesn't mean I can't prefer Windows on the desktop.
