It's the same hardware so of course there's demand for the lites. There's no disadvantage to upgrade the keys later. They just want to see if they can squeeze the most out of everyone at the beginning to maximize profit. Unfortunately it's why Cambium is Cambium and Ubiquiti is well, a lot bigger.
