Those of us in NLOS land will, of course, be watching. :)

  Josh,

There are many greatly improved technologies coming out daily from many
manufacturers; some WiMAX, some proprietary, some Wifi and some LTE. It has
always been my belief that all good companies should consider the advantages of
each and be prepared to use them when they have an application that fits one
“tool” over another.

I’ll give you an analogy. I’m helping Lee Loker build a house right now.
Lee has always invested heavily into tools. It has been an amazing experience
for me to learn how efficiently a house can be built when you have the proper
tools. He has drills for this, saws for that, air nailers/staplers for various
types of work. The important lesson here, is that one keeps an open mind about
new technology that’s available and recognizes a product that will make their
business more efficient and profitable, he invest in it.

Baicells Technologies believes LTE has great enhancements over traditional
WiFI in capacity, number of users, coverage and reliability. I agree or I
wouldn’t have joined the team. At the moment, their products use licensed
frequencies but stay tuned, unlicensed products are about to dawn. It is a
matter of time until LTE dominates much of the unlicensed spectrum, IMHO.

I’ll know more by WISPAmerica, as our team is getting together the first week
of March. It will be an intense week of learning, thought sharing and
strategic planning. Our North American team will strive to meet your growing
broadband speed and connectivity challenges and exceed your expectations doing
so. It will be a lot of fun and we look forward to the challenge.

  Respectfully,

Let me ask it this way...

Is Baicells future product line including only LTE products for different
situations or are they looking at any other delivery MAC (proprietary, Wimax,
802.11, etc.)

Thank you Chuck! I don’t officially start until March 1st. Patrick is
putting together a great team, including Boun Senekham, myself and two others
yet to be announced. I am really looking forward to talking to Wisps on a
daily schedule again. We think Baicells products will be well received and we
are excited to be working together to make sure our clients are extremely
satisfied.

Below is a combination of two press releases that came out last week. It
was easier to combine the two as much of the material was duplicated. My new
email address should be set up in a few days and will be

will be [email protected].

Make sure and visit our booth (215) at WISPAmerica. Baicells

Patrick Leary, Rick Harnish & Boun Senekham Take on Leadership Roles with
Baicells North America

      Feb 17, 2016

Dallas, TX, USA & Beijing, China – February 15, 2016 —Baicells
Technologies, an emerging global provider of disruptive LTE solutions founded
by several of the telecom market’s top scientists and executives, today
announced the launch of their North American operations, also naming American
wireless broadband veteran Patrick Leary to lead the subsidiary. Baicells, a
2015 Red Herring Top 100 Asia Winner, is focused on connecting the unconnected
using cutting-edge and disruptively-valued LTE solutions.

Less than two years old, Baicells’ technology is already network-accepted
by one of the top mobile carriers in the world, and won a small cell innovation
award from a top U.S. based silicon maker. Baicells was founded by top telecom
executives, including Chairman and CEO Sun Lixin, formerly one of the “12
Fellows” of Huawei, a former chairman of the ITU-R WP5D and a leading scientist
for 3GPP.org, both global organizations defining 4G/5g and LTE standards.

“We founded Baicells because we have a dream to be a disruptive player,
including in North America, and few people have had a greater influence over
the North American wireless broadband market than Patrick Leary,” explained Mr.
Sun Lixin. “Patrick shares our vision and our passion to connect the
unconnected, so this is a natural pairing for both Baicells and Mr. Leary. We
are excited for our future in North America.”

“My career’s mission has been to enable the entrepreneurs bravely trying
to solve the digital divide across the continent,” shared Patrick Leary,
President, Baicells, North America. “In Baicells, I’ve found a company with the
same passion, as well as the resources and drive to disrupt the market with
unique and right-priced LTE solutions. I’m honored to join the esteemed
leadership team at Baicells.”

Baicells, an end-to-end LTE solution provider, has three main product
sets: Light4g, BroFi, and WeLTE, targeting small cells, rural broadband, and
private LTE networks, respectively. We also develop our own cloud core enhanced
packet core (EPC) technologies, along with the supporting QAM management and
billing software tools. Our solutions support unlicensed spectrum, as well as
the newly-created U.S. CBRS band, and higher power 2.x and Canadian 3.x
frequencies.

Also joining the Baicells North America team is Mr. Rick Harnish,
formerly the Executive Director of WISPA, the Wireless Internet Service
Providers’ Association, to the position of Director of WISP Markets. Rick will
lead penetration and customer management in this vital market sector. Rick
joins officially March 1.

During his tenure with WISPA, Mr. Harnish grew the association from about
100 to 800 member companies. Over the course of this period, WISPA established
itself as the association of record for the industry, leading its
representation before Congress and the Federal Communications Commission. “I’ve
known Rick for many years,” said Patrick Leary, President, Baicells North
America. “Rick is pretty much ‘Mr. WISP’ and he remains a much-loved figure in
the WISP market. Baicells and our customers will greatly benefit from his
steady hand, and of course the depth and breadth of his knowledge.”

“Life’s journey is filled with wonders and twists,” shared Mr. Harnish.
“I love this community and Baicells will be a perfect vehicle for me to take
the next step to help build our industry. I hope my friends throughout will
welcome me to the commercial side of our industry, and will be patient as I
learn new things.”

Additionally, Baicells is also happy to announce Mr. Boun Senekham, a top
wireless broadband sales executive and customer relationship expert, has joined
the Baicells North America team. The announcement comes one day following the
news that market veteran Patrick Leary will lead the North American subsidiary.
Boun (rhymes with “dune”) joins officially March 1.

For the past 7 years, Boun has been a regional sales manager for Double
Radius, one of the leading value-added distributors in the wireless market and
where he consistently was among its top performers. “Baicells will be built by
professionals with reputations synonymous with integrity and commitment,” noted
Patrick. “We owe this to our partners in China, who put so much faith in us,
and we owe this especially to our future customers, whose businesses will
depend upon our solutions. Ask anyone who’s been around this space for a few
years which salespeople they trust the most, and Boun will be in that list.”

“This was not an easy decision for me,” commented Mr. Senekham, “But I’m
joining colleagues with such passion for our market they consider this work a
vocation, and combined with a parent company led by some of the smartest people
in LTE, this was the right move. I’m excited to share Baicells with my
contacts, and honored to be selected to build our sales organization.”
