Realtime Video transport has it's own set of nuances. Using a standard Data
Transport encrypting / decryption box may or may not work for you ... (RTvideo
is going to be far more sensitive to lost packets, out of order packets,
asymmetric path latency difference etc which all result in dropped video
frames).

If you are looking for low cost, then try your luck with the Mikroitk CCR, if
you are looking for high quality then you should look at the products
specifically used for Video transport... (e.g. ZIXI www.zixi.com)

> I need a box. TV headend VLAN stream goes in. 1000 Mbps.
> Box encapsulates it and launches it on the public internet.
> At the far end, another box reverses the situation.
> Years ago I used Cisco PIX for this type of thing.
> Looking over pre-baked solutions I see lots of specs about number of users, or

> I care about one single VLAN type of pipe, being wrapped up and unwrapped.
> Only.
> But performance has to be flawless. Robust. Plenty of CPU & Memory overhead.
