I can't tell you specifics, but we have a friend that converted a
hardware store from fluorescent to LED. it was part of a remodel, so I
think he did a wholesale replacement without having to retrofit any
fixtures.
He has claimed that it is an enormous amount of power savings (he owns a
total of 5 hardware stores), as he is comparing power consumption at
this one new store relative to his other stores. One bonus that he
didn't originally factor into the comparison is the change in the heat
load. Because the LEDs are contributing fewer BTUs to the ambient
environment, he is also saving on air conditioning.
